We're currently looking for motivated Plant Operators / Labourers / Drivers to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced machine operator, hold a HR or HC licence, or enjoy working in a hands-on construction environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a diverse, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work as part of an experienced site team operating plant, undertaking labouring duties and supporting safe, efficient project delivery.
Safety, teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate excavators, skid steers and other mobile plant (where licensed and competent).
Perform general labouring duties including site preparation, clean-up and material handling.
Load, unload and transport materials safely.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of plant and equipment.
Complete daily plant usage and maintenance records.
Identify, report and rectify workplace hazards.
Use a variety of construction tools and equipment including grinders, drills, saws, pressure washers and lifting equipment.
Maintain responsibility for company plant, attachments, hired equipment and tools.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and site personnel.
Complete Take 5s and comply with all Quality, Safety and Environmental (QSE) requirements.
Deliver work to a high standard while maintaining safe work practices at all times.
About You
You'll be a reliable team player who enjoys physical work and takes pride in working safely.
Ideally you'll have:
Experience operating excavators, skid steers or other civil or demolition plant.
HR or HC Truck Licence (highly regarded).
Construction industry experience.
White Card.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, bending and manual handling.
A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required.
