• Be based in either Sydney, or Melbourne in this hybrid role

As the Performance Media Specialist - Retail Media, within our Mixin media team, you will bring exceptional performance media expertise to our rapidly expanding retail media business.

You will oversee media activities across our owned onsite and self-service platforms as well as paid media extensions, leveraging data and digital best practices to drive performance. 

Working closely with sales teams and trade partners (media clients), you will manage campaigns end-to-end, optimize performance, and ensure our trade partners achieve maximum value from their media investments.

Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Act as the internal SME and platform custodian for Criteo—staying ahead of product roadmaps and feature releases.
• Partner with sales teams to educate trade partners on best practices, analyze in-flight campaign performance, and execute optimizations for managed service partners.
• Act as operational owner for Data Clean Room platforms (e.g.,LiveRamp), managing audience onboarding workflows and targeting. 
• Support setup and troubleshooting with specialised network partners, align with Endeavour Group Media on white-listed publishers, and intervene on underperformance.
• Support the setup of trade partners and product catalogues through partner platforms (e.g., Facebook Catalogs). 
• Interpret briefs and optimize campaigns using targeting levers while informing process efficiencies as GTM solutions evolve.
• Support the sales team with trade partner onboarding, platform education, complex brief responses, and upfront sales narratives to guide client budget strategy.
• Capture channel performance metrics for weekly/monthly reviews, deliver post-campaign analyses (PCAs), and collaborate with product managers to unlock new display formats and audience segments.
   

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 3+ Years hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns (e.g., Meta, TikTok) and paid search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Search Ads 360).
• Comprehensive experience in programmatic campaign setup (static and video placements) and managing feed-based campaigns such as dynamic remarketing and product catalogues.
• Solid understanding of varying digital media buying models (CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS) and proven ability to manage and optimize large digital budgets across multiple channels.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and execute data-driven optimizations.
• A high attention to detail and a passion for learning new technology platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally, explain performance insights to non-technical stakeholders, and present as an SME in client engagements and webinars.
• An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Commerce, or Business.
• Proficiency in analytics tools (Google/Adobe Analytics/ Meta Advanced Analytics) and\or visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio).
• Experience with tracking tools (GTM, FB Pixel) or bid management/social media performance tools (Search Ads 360, Skai, Smartly).
