About the role

As a MR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This is a physically demanding position suited to individuals who are fit, active and capable of handling repetitive manual tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition

• Physically unloading milk crates (20kg per crate) at each delivery point

• Handling high-volume deliveries with loads up to 4.5 tonnes per run, requiring consistent manual lifting and movement

• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance

• Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues

• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Valid MR Licence, HR Licence highly regarded

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in Road Transport (Refrigerated Transport experience high regarded)

• Ability to provide a current traffic report

• Physical fitness for manual unloading

• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner

• A punctual, reliable and courteous approach to all tasks

• Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing

• A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours

• A strong Think Safe attitude
