About the role

Fineline Cabinets (Vic) Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in West Sunshine, VIC. This is a full-time position based at our workshop location. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a crucial role in designing, crafting, and constructing high-quality custom cabinetry and wooden furniture pieces. This position is central to maintaining our reputation for excellence in bespoke cabinet making and delivering exceptional products to our valued clients.

What we're looking for

1. Completed apprenticeship or formal qualification in Cabinet Making

2. Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in cabinet making

3. Strong proficiency with woodworking machinery and hand tools, used safely and competently

4. Solid understanding of timber types, wood finishing techniques, and joinery methods

5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

6. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality

7. Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

9. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards work

10. Knowledge of health and safety practices in woodworking environments
