NV Picton specialises in operator and truck seating solutions, with services ranging from minor repairs through to full seat refurbishments across a wide range of industries including transport, mining, agriculture, defence and construction.

About the role

Our Workshop Technician role is a critical part in our team to deliver high quality seat repairs, servicing and parts to our customers. Working closely with our workshop team the technician will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, diagnosing faults, installation of seats and ensuring refurbished seats meet our high-level durability, safety and comfort standards.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with a high attention to detail and eager to develop their practical skills as training is provided.

About you

• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving ability

• Background in mechanical, automotive or related trade highly valued

• Reliable, honest, punctual and able to work effectively with a supportive small team environment

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Physically capable of performing hands on repairs and fit outs

• Safety conscious approach to all workshop tasks.

• $32-$40 per hour + superannuation depending on experience
