Mechanical Fitter / Plumber

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Plumber Technician to join our team in Berrimah, NT. This full-time role is key to supporting our service operations, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of chemical dosing systems across the Northern Territory.

What you’ll be doing

• Installation and servicing of chemical dosing systems, including pumps, pipework, and containment

• Maintenance and repair of chlorine gas and liquid chemical systems

• Installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation piping and associated equipment

• Assisting with commissioning of system upgrades and refits

• Supporting site-based projects and responding to service callouts

• Maintaining safety standards and contributing to a collaborative work environment

What we’re looking for

• Mechanical or plumbing trade qualification with relevant experience

• Experience working with chemical dosing or water treatment systems (preferred)

• Understanding of safe chemical handling practices and PPE requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Current driver’s licence; forklift licence is an advantage
