As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Robinvale District Health Services', you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our nursing team and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. In this full-time position based in Robinvale, VIC, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our multidisciplinary healthcare facility. The role includes oversight and coordination across Aged Care, Urgent Care, and Dialysis services, ensuring clinical excellence, staff support, and continuity of care across all areas.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Nurse Unit Manager in the overall management and coordination of nursing staff, including rostering, performance management and professional development
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting best practices and high-quality patient care
Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures and initiatives
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and an integrated approach to service delivery
Participate in quality improvement activities and promote a culture of continuous learning and development
What we're looking for
Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of post-graduate experience, including experience in a nursing management or leadership role
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a team of nursing professionals, with a focus on staff engagement, performance and development
Strong clinical expertise and a deep understanding of nursing practices, policies and regulations within the healthcare industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proficient in the use of clinical information systems and data analysis to support evidence-based decision making
Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
