About the role
Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chief Operating Officer.
This is an opportunity for a highly organised professional who uses initiative, exercises sound judgement and enjoys working in a busy executive environment. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to coordinate priorities, correspondence, meetings, actions and workflows, while building effective relationships with Councillors, senior staff, government representatives and other key stakeholders.
What we will offer you:
Key responsibilities include: providing proactive executive support to the Chief Operating Officer, including diary, correspondence and workflow management; coordinating and following up requests, commitments and actions; preparing reports, briefings, correspondence and business papers; organising meetings and supporting documentation; liaising with Councillors, senior staff and external stakeholders; and managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
