Leadership Opportunity in People & Culture for a leading retail group's HR Manager.

Our leading retail business is seeking a highly experienced HR Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our People & Culture.

• Strategic Partnership: Work directly with the CEO and Directors to develop and implement our people strategy, aligning it with our overall business objectives.

• Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the HR Function and team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Lead employment relations functions across the business, including performance reviews, grievance handling, disciplinary matters and performance development

• Manage recruitment, induction and onboarding processes for a permanent and casual workforce

• Provide advice on HR legislative requirements

• Manage HR administration, policies and procedures and salary reviews

• Culture & Values: Champion our company culture and values, fostering a positive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.

• Develop learning & development and company culture initiatives

• Project Focus: Digitalise employment records with HR systems in new Tanda roll out

Key competencies include:

 

• Min 5 years HR experience, ideally in a similar Fashion or Retail environment

• Extensive expertise in the Fair Work Act and  Retail Award legislation

• Tertiary qualifications in HR

• Ability to work onsite in Melbourne’s inner east

• People-oriented, with the ability to build rapport and coach individuals at all levels
