About the role

Role Type: Full-time ongoing, onsite

Remuneration: starting $ 94,772.16 inclusive of 12% super (dependent on qualifications and experience)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher Plumbing to build next generation of skilled plumbers. You will deliver high-quality vocational education and training across practical workshops, classrooms, and digital learning environments. You will play a key role in developing students' technical skills, industry knowledge, and workplace readiness.
Whether you are already teaching or looking to transition from industry into education, we will support you to develop your teaching career while making a meaningful impact on students, employers, and the plumbing industry.
Your role will include:
Delivering engaging plumbing training and assessment programs.
Facilitating hands-on learning in our modern Plumbing Metro workshops.
Supporting learners to build confidence and competence in plumbing workshops
Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation.
Ensuring compliance with training package, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Providing mentoring, coaching, and industry-relevant guidance
Collaborating with industry partners and colleagues to continuously improve programs and student outcomes

Passion to share industry knowledge with young learners
Flexibility to deliver training across varied schedules, learner groups and practical workshop settings
Can effectively facilitate both practical workshop-based and classroom learning environments
Creates an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Is committed to student success, industry engagement, and continuous improvement
A completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to enrol
Current plumbing registration in Water, Drainage, Sanitary, Roofing, Gas & Mechanical
Highly Regarded
Experience delivering and assessing qualifications across:
Certificate II in Plumbing (Pre-apprenticeship)
Certificate III in Plumbing (Apprenticeship)
Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services
Experience working within the Victorian TAFE or vocational education sector
Experience using digital learning platforms and online delivery methods
The Essential Paperwork; Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check, Certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications, transcripts and Electrical licence.
