Delivery Driver/Workshop Assistant

This role puts you as the face of our business, therefore, we require someone with an understanding/interest of the motor vehicle industry and be comfortable with building relationships with our customers.

Your key areas of responsibility are:

• Delivery of goods to customers.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching goods.
• General housekeeping of dispatch and office areas.
• Picking up parts from customers for repair and return.
• Assist with customer enquiries, both face to face & telephone.
• General cleaning and maintenance of delivery vehicles and workshop areas.
• Rotor machining and flywheel grinding.
• Brake shoe re-bonding.
• Workshop assistance.

It is essential that you have:

• Knowledge of Maitland and surrounding areas.
• Current driver's licence
• Experience driving a manual vehicle preferred.
• Good computer skills.
• A Positive attitude, reliable, punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instruction / direction from senior staff.
• Ability to organise and prioritise deliveries and your workload.
• Physical capability for manual handling of automotive parts.
• Willingness to learn new skills across other areas of the business.
