Speech Pathologist | Perth | Paediatric OR Adult Caseload — Your Choice Full-time or part-time | New grads and experienced SPs welcome
Mediix is partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary private practice in Perth to appoint a Speech Pathologist to their growing team. What makes this role a little different: you choose the caseload that suits you. Whether your interest sits with paediatrics, adults, or a mix of both, the practice will build the role around your clinical strengths and areas you want to grow into.
The team is a genuinely collegial mix of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and allied health support staff, working out of a modern, well-resourced clinic.
About The Role
You'll shape your own caseload from the practice's referral base — and it's a broad one. Depending on your preference, that might look like:
Paediatrics — early language delay, ASD, articulation, fluency, AAC, school-age literacyAdults — acquired communication disorders, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagiaMixed — a genuine blend across ages, if that's the variety you're after
Day to day, you will:
Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plansDeliver 1:1 intervention, with group sessions where clinically indicatedCollaborate closely with the in-house multidisciplinary team on shared clientsPartner with families, carers, educators and support workersMaintain clinical documentation and complete NDIS, Medicare and DVA reporting as requiredContribute to team case reviews, in-house PD and clinical discussion

About You
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech PathologySpeech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certifiedNew graduates with strong placement experience are warmly encouraged to apply — structured new-grad support is in placeExperienced SPs looking for a stable, well-run practice equally welcomeStrong clinical reasoning, documentation and interpersonal skillsCurrent WA driver's licence and reliable vehicleWWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
