Are you an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster looking for greater autonomy, complex matters and a business that values quality over claim volume?

We are partnering with a highly regarded national loss adjusting firm seeking a Senior Liability Loss Adjuster to join its Melbourne team.

This opportunity would suit an established adjuster who enjoys investigating complex matters, applying sound technical judgement and managing claims from initial instruction through to resolution.

The Role

You will manage a varied portfolio of liability claims, including:

• Public and Product Liability
• Property Damage
• Personal Injury
• Professional Indemnity
• Complex and higher-value liability matters

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting investigations and site inspections
• Assessing liability, causation, policy response and quantum
• Interviewing insureds, claimants and relevant stakeholders
• Preparing clear, detailed and well-reasoned reports
• Liaising with insurers, brokers, solicitors and experts
• Negotiating and recommending appropriate claim outcomes
• Managing claims through to resolution

About You

Ideally, you will bring:

• 5+ years' Liability Loss Adjusting experience
• Experience managing complex liability claims
• Strong investigation, analytical and reporting skills
• Sound knowledge of liability principles and claims management
• Strong insurer, broker and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to manage matters independently
• AICLA membership or relevant industry qualifications
