Established in 2011, Home Grain Bakery has been a local community hub for nearly 15 years.
We specialise in locally sourced ingredients for all of our pies, traditional ciabatta and sourdough breads, pastries and cakes. We are located in the main street of Aldinga and do all of our baking on-site.

Due to an increase in demand over the last 12 months, we are currently on the hunt for multiple roles to join our Home Grain Bakery team. If you've got a love for all things baked and an eye for quality, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Full Time Role:

• A full time role with weekend flexibility a must

• Eye of quality and ability to work within a team is key

• Our shifts are 5am - 1pm, with the option and need for overtime on occasion

• Competitive remuneration for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with and produce a range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, breads, donuts, pastries from scratch daily

• Be able to work with bread doughs of all types, including sourdough and ciabatta. Ideally you will have experience shaping and moulding as well as mixing

• Ensuring consistency in product quality and taste

• Maintain a clean and organised work space

• Commitment to quality, sustainability, and food safety standard

What you need to be successful in application:

• Bakers Qualification

• Minimum 3 years commercial baking experience is ideal

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A passion for quality and excellence in baking

• Current Vehicle License and reliable transport (own vehicle)

• Able to communicate effectively with others
