About the role
At Children First Early Education Gympie, we are committed to providing a child safe environment where every child is respected, heard, and protected. All educators, leaders, and team members share the responsibility for ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and empowerment.
Our brand new service has opened in the heart of Gympie! We are on the lookout for driven Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator to join our brand new team on a casual basis!
About your new role:
Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
About you:
Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
Current Blue Card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
Experience in an early childhood setting.
A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
Prior experience and confidence in leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs.
Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
