Mental Health Social Worker/Psychologist

About the role

We're after an experienced generalist clinician to join our team part time, working with a real mix of clients — individuals, couples, families and children. If you like variety in your caseload and want the autonomy to build your own client base within a supportive practice (rather than starting from zero on your own), this is the role for you.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a diverse caseload including individuals, couples, families and children

• Provide Medicare-rebated services through Better Access

• Build and manage your own client base within the practice

• Work autonomously with strong clinical judgement

• Collaborate with the team of six clinicians

About you

• Minimum 5 years' clinical experience as a social worker or psychologist

• Eligibility to provide Medicare-rebated services (Better Access)

• Confidence working across the lifespan — individuals, couples, families and children

• A genuinely generalist approach, comfortable adapting to whoever's in front of you

• Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work autonomously

• A collaborative mindset — you'll be part of a team, not just renting a room
