The Opportunity:
The Purchasing Licensing and Leasing department is responsible for managing procurement, tendering, contract administration, leasing and licensing activities across Holmesglen. The department supports the Institute's operations by ensuring purchasing processes are efficient, cost-effective and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Holmesglen Institute is seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer - Tendering & Contracts to join our Office of the Chief Financial Officer on an 8-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Institute's procurement and contract management functions, while contributing to the implementation of a new Contract Management System.
Reporting to the Purchasing, Leasing and Licensing Manager, you will provide specialist support across tendering, procurement compliance and contract management activities.
A key focus of this role will be coordinating procurement and tendering processes across the Institute, ensuring compliance with Victorian Government and Holmesglen procurement requirements, while leading the implementation and population of Holmesglen's new TechnologyOne Contract Management System. You will also work closely with managers across the organisation to support effective contract management practices and compliance.

Experience managing tenders within Victorian Government agencies, local government councils, universities or TAFEs will be highly regarded.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
