Symons Clark Logistics is growing our Local Regional Mining Operations team and has immediate opportunities available from our Port Adelaide depot. You’ll join a South Australian family-owned business where drivers are known by name, supported by an experienced operations team, and backed by long-term mining contracts.

The role:

You’ll be responsible for:

• Operating large road train combinations safely and in accordance with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Completing pre-start inspections and transport documentation
• Loading and unloading freight safely and professionally
• Representing Symons Clark Logistics with a strong customer focus
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

• MC-Unrestricted Licence
• Clean driving history over the past five years
• Proven experience as a truck driver operating a road ranger gearbox and MC-Unrestricted licence, preferably in the mining or heavy transport industry.
• Strong commitment to safety and fatigue management
• Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
• Ability to obtain Flinders Ports and MSIC security clearances
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights as required.

Desirable

• Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence or willingness to obtain one

Successful applicants will complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical (including a Fit to Drive assessment), drug and alcohol screening, and a police check.
