Senior Associate - Major Projects & Construction (Disputes/Back-End)

Working closely with leading Partner Frank Bannon and other experienced senior practitioners, this is in a rewarding opportunity for a talented construction and infrastructure disputes lawyer to join our leading Major Projects & Construction team in Sydney.

With a strong pipeline of matters, this role will see you acting for large public sector and tier 1 contractor clients on complex, high-value projects claims and disputes. There will also be some advisory work in this role. This role offers significant opportunity to refine your client relationship management skills and enhance your professional profile in the market.

The team have successfully acted on some of the largest, high profile infrastructure matters in Australia. The team operate on a nationally collaborative basis and you will have the opportunity to work across a multi-disciplinary practice.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years post-admission experience as a lawyer, with demonstrated time spent in a Senior Associate (or equivalent) role

• A strong academic record

• Strong construction or major projects litigation and/or disputes experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm

• Well developed and refined drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Dedication and commitment to ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service

• Ability to work both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
