Critical Care Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospital Centres, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role requires a motivated and adaptable Critical Care Registered Nurse committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care within a complex and dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment.
Northern Health ICU is an 18-bed tertiary-level service caring for more than 1,100 critically ill patients annually. The unit provides advanced critical care services and supports hospital-wide patient safety through the Medical Emergency Team (MET), ICU Liaison Nurse service, parenteral nutrition support, and tracheostomy follow-up programs.
