Traffic Controller

Everest Civil is seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Controllers to join our team. We have opportunities available for both local and away work across a variety of civil construction and infrastructure projects.

As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians through work zones while supporting civil construction crews on-site.

• Control and direct traffic in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans.

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices and signage.

• Ensure work zones remain safe for workers, motorists, and the public.

• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project teams.

• Carry out daily safety checks and comply with all site procedures.

• Assist site crews as required while maintaining traffic control responsibilities.

• Current Traffic Controller Accreditation/Ticket.

• Current Roller Ticket.

• Construction White Card.

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Ability to work both locally and away from home as required.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions.

• Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation.

• Previous civil construction experience.

• HR Licence.

• First Aid Certificate.
