The Opportunity

An opportunity has opened up for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join the Sienna Homes team in the North West

Reporting to the Area Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

• Manage site activity in-accordance with the construction program

• Manage subcontractors and site labour activity on a day-to-day basis

• Take the lead role in on-site safety, including monitoring and correcting non-compliant activities or behaviour

• Ensure a high level of on-site communication and teamwork through regular on-site meetings

• Helping subcontractors meet their obligations of delivering high quality workmanship

• Perform inspections for quality to ensure the quality of workmanship is maintained

• Assist in bringing in new trades to fill the growing workload of the business

• Liaise with clients on the progress of their homes

 Experience/Skills required: 

• Experience managing deliveries of small to medium construction projects – townhouse construction experience is preferable

• Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications

• Excellent computer literacy

• Ability to efficiently prioritise and achieve various project deadlines

• Demonstrable negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Strong people management skill

• Showing an appetite to further grow own skills and knowledge
