Registered/Enrolled Nurse

We are a well-established group of general practices providing comprehensive healthcare services across our medical centres. Our services include General Practice, Allied Health, Medical Specialists and Pathology, allowing us to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to our patients.

Our practices are equipped with modern facilities and clinical equipment and are supported by an experienced team of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

Previous experience in general practice is highly regarded; however, training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidate.

As a Practice Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care while working closely with our General Practitioners and wider clinical team.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Patient triage and clinical assessment

• Assisting doctors with minor procedures

• Assisting with Chronic Disease Management, Care Plans and Health Assessments

• Wound care and wound management

• Immunisations and vaccinations

• Cold chain management and monitoring

• ECGs

• Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) assessments

• Spirometry

• Maintaining clinical equipment, supplies and stock

• Supporting infection prevention and control processes

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Providing patient education and promoting preventative healthcare

• Supporting the clinical team with the day-to-day delivery of high-quality patient care

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is organised, reliable and able to work effectively within a busy general practice environment

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient-centred care

• Works well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Has general practice experience, although this is preferred rather than essential

• Has an interest in chronic disease management and preventative healthcare

• Full-time or part-time opportunities
