Chef

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Full Time Chef at this independently owned property.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing, cooking and serving high quality meals

• The effective and efficient operation of the kitchen

• Managing kitchen equipment

• Receiving and examining supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet venue and food safety standards

• Abiding by food safety regulations

• Ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen

• Refreshing menu seasonally and creating weekly chef specials

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Lunch & Dinner

• Have previous experience as a chef

• Work well in a team structure

• Self motivated

• Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to create seasonal menu with costings

• Experience in ordering accurately

• Completed FOODSAFE Supervisors Certificate

• Unrestricted Approved Manager

We are searching for an individual with excellent time management and communication skills, and most importantly, a commitment to excellence in product and service.

38 hours per week

80,000.00 pa
