Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician

Join an established fire protection contractor specialising in vehicle fire suppression and become part of an experienced team with low staff turnover.

Working across mining and mobile plant equipment, you'll undertake installations, servicing, fault finding, breakdown response and repairs across a wide range of vehicle fire suppression systems. You'll continue developing your technical skills by gaining experience with a diverse range of vehicle fire suppression systems and equipment, with the opportunity to progress into a Leading Hand position.

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily installation, with service, maintenance and breakdown work as required.
• Complete repairs and system upgrades.
• Inspect equipment and identify maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records.
• Build effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians where applicable.
• Contribute to the efficient delivery of scheduled service activities.

About You

• Demonstrated experience working with vehicle fire suppression systems.
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
• Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing highly regarded.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills with a commitment to safety and customer service.
• Current WA Driver's Licence.
• Full, ongoing and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
