Kitchen Hand

Shadowfax Winery & Restaurant, located in the prestigious Werribee Park precinct, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand either on a full time basis.

-immediate start available

-38 hours per week

It’s a fast-paced venue that offers lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner on Friday nights, with functions and events throughout the year.

The role involves providing support to all chefs whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous

• Demonstrated organisational, time management skills

• Must be able to endure the repetitive and physically demanding nature of the role

• Available to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays

• OHS, food hygiene & safety understanding

• Excellent communication & presentation

• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

• Possess a positive “can do” attitude
