Enrolled Nurse

About the role

Working closely with GPs and nursing team, you will be involved in conducting health assessments, assisting with GP Management Plans and Care Plans, supporting chronic disease management, providing immunisations and vaccinations, assisting GPs with minor procedures and clinical procedures, wound care and other nursing duties within your scope of practice, preventative health and screening programs, patient education and health promotion, recalls, follow-up and coordination of patient care, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health and reception staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting Health Assessments

• Assisting GPs with minor procedures and clinical procedures
• Wound care and other nursing duties within your scope of practice
• Preventative health and screening programs
• Patient education and health promotion
• Recalls, follow-up and coordination of patient care
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

About you

• AHPRA registered
• Passionate about primary healthcare and preventative medicine
• Caring, compassionate and patient-focused
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Driven, proactive and willing to take initiative
• Organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment
• Professional, reliable and committed to high standards of care
• Confident communicating with patients and the healthcare team
• General practice experience is highly regarded, however, nurses with 1–2 years' experience who are enthusiastic about developing their career in primary care are encouraged to apply
