About warehouse Packing job

Join the dynamic team at Australian Produce Brokers' as a full-time Fresh Produce Packer based in Canning Vale, WA. The position is Monday to Friday with a 5.00 am start. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packing a variety of fresh produce for distribution across Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully handle and pack a range of fresh fruits and vegetables to meet customer orders and quality standards

• Operate packing equipment and machinery safely and effectively

• Maintain high levels of hygiene and food safety in the packing area

• Fulfil orders within set timeframes to ensure timely delivery

• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management

• Support the wider production team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a fast-paced produce packing or food manufacturing environment

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines

• Good physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks

• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices

• Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions

• Full time work capability Monday to Friday

About the Forklift Driver/Picker/Packer role

We are seeking a full-time Forklift Driverr to join our dynamic team at Australian Produce Brokers' warehouse facility in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklifts to move, load and unload stock, as well as picking and packing customer orders. Start time is 3am.

What you'll be doing

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload stock

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently when required

• Maintain a clean and organized forklift

• Adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

What we're looking for

• High Risk Forklift license and experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately

• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

• Available to work every at least 1 Sunday per month (we rotate Sundays between all staff in this role - you will get a day off during the week for this Sunday)

• Early morning starts - 3am (and 4am on Sundays)
