An opportunity exists to join a committed team of Gastroenterologists whose key areas of responsibility include running a busy Endoscopy Service, general Gastroenterology and Hepatology clinics, participating in the Gastroenterology Outreach program, teaching and mentoring as well as undertaking Clinical Research activities.

About your new role:

In your new role you will…… 

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of any allocated junior medical staff to ensure that appropriate standards of care are maintained, and that junior medical staff are trained to adequately fulfil their duties.
• Deliver a high standard of clinical care in the field of Gastroenterology throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
• Participate in Outreach services including overnight stays in remote communities.
