Financial Crime Consultant – Gaming / Casino Specialist
6-Month Contract | Sydney Preferred | Remote Considered for Relevant Casino Experience
WhiteLight AML is continuing to grow its specialist Financial Crime consulting and managed services capability, and we are looking to appoint experienced Financial Crime Consultants to support a key remediation engagement.
This initial 6-month contract opportunity working as part of a specialist WhiteLight delivery team on a significant Financial Crime programme.We are particularly interested in candidates with previous casino or gaming experience and hands-on exposure across areas such as:
UMR / UAR investigationsSMR investigations and draftingFinancial Crime investigationsCustomer behaviour / gaming activity analysisTransaction MonitoringAUSTRAC Online / SMR submission experienceRemediation or backlog programmes
The opportunity
You will join a dedicated WhiteLight AML project team responsible for delivering a key piece of Financial Crime remediation work for a major Australian organisation.
The role will involve investigating unusual activity, documenting and dispositioning relevant red flags, completing detailed investigation outcomes and supporting the drafting of SMRs where required.You will work alongside experienced Financial Crime specialists, Team Leads and QA resources within a structured managed-service environment, with clear delivery and quality expectations.
About you
Ideally, you will have:Previous AML / Financial Crime investigation experienceStrong UMR / UAR and/or SMR experienceExperience drafting clear investigation narrativesPrevious casino or gaming experience highly regardedStrong understanding of AML/CTF obligationsExperience working within remediation or high-volume investigative environmentsStrong attention to detail and written communication skillsAbility to work to both productivity and quality standards
Location
Sydney is strongly preferred, with the core project team expected to work closely together.However, we are open to considering remote candidates with strong and directly relevant casino/gaming Financial Crime experience.
