About the role
We are looking for electricians with an interest in the solar industry to lead or support our installation teams on small to large solar projects, ranging from residential installations and battery installations to large commercial or industrial installations.
Applications are open to A‑Grade Electricians only.
Experience on commercial projects is highly regarded. Previous experience in the solar industry is preferred but not required. We can assist with SAA/CEC accreditation and training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Leading or supporting an installation team on small to large solar projects (responsibility level based on experience).
Communicating clearly and positively, and finding solutions to problems when needed.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships within the team, suppliers and clients.
Observing and implementing all relevant OH&S requirements at all times.
Providing technical support.
Uploading site images, serial numbers, and test results to relevant software.
Qualifications & Experience:
A‑Grade Electrical Licence and registration with ESV
Previous experience leading and supervising a 2–3 person team
Willingness to step into leadership responsibilities with support
Current Drivers Licence
Working at Heights ticket
EWP licence (preferred)
Working Safely in the Solar Industry ticket
SAA Design and Install certification (highly desirable)
Battery Storage certification (highly desirable)
