About the role
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR – 12 months MATERNITY LEAVE COVER role
Bond-Eye Australia is a leading Swimwear company, with multiple globally recognised brands including Bond-Eye and Sea Level. Made to be seen, bond-eye swim is known for the authentic crinkle one size swim wear. This role will work across local and offshore production for bond-eye brands and play a key role in supplier relationships and delivery of seasonal collections.
THE POSITION
We are seeking a Production Coordinator to support end to end production across swim and resort wear. Working closely with the Production Manager, this role offers exposure to both local and offshore production. This is a 12 month contract position covering maternity leave, based in Alexandria.
You will play a key part in coordinating production activities including:
Item set up, data entry into our system and maintaining data integrity
Manage local bill of materials, support seasonal costings
End to end management of local trims, from order forecasting to management of inventory.
Raising garment purchase orders
Maintenance and accuracy of production trackers - chasing suppliers, tracking orders, ensuring ex-factory dates are maintained
Fortnightly inline Q.C at local factory
Run fortnightly production meetings – between production & design, monitoring sign offs & approvals, to maintain ex-factory dates
Coordinate manufacturing between local factories – including external dye houses/cutters
Coordinate fabric and garment recycling
Manage freight bookings for factory pick ups
Coordinate SMS samples across all brands, from allocation list to handover to logistics.
Stock receiving and invoice approvals
Shipping sample approvals
Day to day point of contact for local CMT factory – resolving issues in production, updating on deliveries/stock.
Seasonal fabric/trim stock take
Seasonal reporting; sending cancellations lists, raw materials inventory reporting.
Managing VAS ticketing orders
Assist in barcode approvals
Processing samples back to stock
Setting up reports and using excel
ABOUT YOU
This position would suit a highly organised individual, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You thrive off ownership and creating a sense of momentum. Previous experience in production is essential (this is not a graduate position) with strong computer administration skills including excel.
