MC Local Driver

• Experienced MC drivers

• Full-time

• 7am or 5pm start times available

• Monday to Friday plus every second Saturday or Sunday

• Forklift licence ideal

• Tug driving involved (on the 5pm shift)

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

 Your role will focus on local distribution and will include:

• Local pickups/deliveries

• Loading/unloading of trailers using forklift

• Moving trailers across depot yard with tug truck

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2+ years of MC driving experience 

• Current MC licence

• Ability to reverse B-Doubles into loading dock

• Ability to couple/uncouple trailers 

• Current Forklift Licence

• Experience with accurate completion of freight and heavy vehicle paperwork 

• Experience with multi drop pick-up/delivery

• Tug truck experience (preferred)

• Experience driving B-triples or road trains (preferred) 

• Experience with refrigerated transport (preferred)
