Research Scientist / Research Associate

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a highly analytical and research-oriented professional to support scientific research, experimental development, data analysis, and research project execution. The role involves contributing to research activities from study design and experimentation through data interpretation, documentation, and reporting, while supporting the development of reliable and evidence-based findings.Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, defining research questions, developing research methodologies, designing and performing experiments, and collecting and analyzing research data. The role will involve applying appropriate scientific and statistical methods, evaluating experimental results, identifying trends and relationships, and contributing to the development and validation of research findings.The successful candidate will maintain accurate research records, prepare technical reports, presentations, and research documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects. The role also involves supporting research planning, laboratory or field activities where applicable, ensuring research procedures and quality standards are followed, and identifying opportunities for further investigation and scientific improvement.QualificationsStrong understanding of scientific research, experimental design, research methodology, and data analysis.Ability to conduct literature reviews, formulate research questions, and develop structured research approaches.Strong analytical, quantitative, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of relevant scientific principles, laboratory techniques, or experimental methodologies.Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex research data.Familiarity with statistical analysis and scientific data visualization.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant research or data analysis tools.Knowledge of programming or scientific computing tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar platforms is an advantage.Strong scientific writing, technical documentation, and presentation skills.Ability to maintain accurate research records and follow established research, laboratory, quality, and safety procedures.Strong attention to detail, scientific integrity, and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary research teams.Curious, methodical, and proactive mindset with a strong commitment to scientific discovery, continuous learning, and research excellence.
