About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain independence in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoists used when necessary)
• Providing personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing
• Bowel therapy and catheter care
• Supporting basic wound care and medication assistance
• Offering domestic support: meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Facilitating community access: supporting clients to attend appointments and social activities through driving or public transport

About You
We seek passionate individuals with an empathetic nature and a positive attitude. You should be able to communicate effectively and treat others with dignity and respect.
Requirements:

• Valid Australian manual driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• While prior experience is preferred, we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate
• Smartphone device
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Card or willingness to obtain
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module or willingness to complete
• Flexibility to pick up additional back-fill shifts
