Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years.
Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

Your Career Starts Here
BRAMS is looking for a full-time IT Trainee based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Assets Manager, this role is the first point of contact for IT support across the organisation, helping staff resolve everyday technology issues so they can keep delivering quality health services to the community.
This is an earn-while-you-learn opportunity. You will be paid a full-time wage from day one while you study towards a nationally recognised qualification, trained and supported by KAMS IT throughout your traineeship and building real technical skills on the job.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
What You’ll Bring
No previous IT experience or qualifications are required. To qualify, you need a genuine interest in technology, basic computer skills, and a commitment to completing the formal training that comes with this traineeship. You will also hold a current WA driver’s licence.

As our ideal candidate, you will be reliable, organised and able to manage competing priorities. You will be approachable, patient and helpful when supporting staff, honest and trustworthy with confidential information, and able to work in a culturally safe and respectful manner within an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation.
