About the role

DNC PROJECTS PTY LTD' is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson/ Kitchen Draftsperson to join our talented team in Wangara, WA. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting and design support across a range of Construction/Joinery projects, with a particular focus on mechanical and kitchen design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical systems, kitchens, custom bars, and structural steel designs.

• Prepare working drawings for architects, builders, clients, and contractors.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to develop practical, high-quality design solutions.

• Review designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

• Maintain and update technical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation guides.

• Produce shop drawings based on tender documentation and client-supplied plans for fabrication using CNC machinery or external suppliers.

• Contribute to the development and refinement of internal drafting standards, templates, and processes for improved efficiency and quality.

What we're looking forAbout You:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).

• Demonstrated experience in mechanical drafting and/or kitchen/joinery design.

• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and industry regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson or Kitchen Draftsperson, preferably within the engineering or construction industry
