We're opening an exciting new Vinnies Outlet Mega Store in Auburn, and we're looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager who's ready to help launch one of our biggest retail stores yet. This isn't just another retail job. Every sale helps fund programs supporting people experiencing hardship across NSW, so the impact you make extends far beyond the shop floor. Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll help lead a passionate team of employees and volunteers, drive sales, create a fun and engaging store culture, and ensure every customer leaves wanting to come back.

Your Responsibility

• Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
• Leading the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Inspiring, coaching and developing a diverse team of employees and volunteers.
• Creating an exceptional shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
• Driving sales, achieving KPIs and contributing to commercial success.
• Monitoring budgets and helping deliver strong financial performance.
• Maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards.
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, volunteers and team members.
• Supporting consistent implementation of store policies and operational procedures.

You Will Need

• Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• A track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• A passion for coaching, motivating and developing others.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working with budgets and commercial targets.
• A positive attitude, plenty of initiative and a genuine passion for customer service.
• The ability to build an engaged, high-performing team.
