About the role
About us
Noosa Auto Group is a long-established family-owned business on the Sunshine Coast with a strong team environment. Due to the growth of our existing brands and expansion with new brands we have an opportunity within our Service Department. We are looking for a local, dependable and skilled Workshop Controller/Technician/Foreman to be hands-on in managing our GWM workshop, here in the heart of Noosa. Working in a modern facility, applicants will be expected to have good time management and computer skills. A neat and tidy appearance, positive attitude and sound work ethic is also required. Qualifications & experience
Sound automotive workshop knowledge
Proven ability to lead and mentor staff in a fast-paced environment
A good understanding of relevant KPIs
Ability to work with tight schedules and changing priorities
Current QLD driver's license
Tasks & responsibilities
Control daily workshop throughput
Achieve performance objectives including productivity, efficiency and gross profit
Quality control Technician and Apprentices work
Conduct regular toolbox meetings
Carry out repairs and maintenance on customer/company vehicles as required to achieve performance metrics
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
Maintain a safe working environment
Keep up to date with product bulletins and manufacturer training
Provide exceptional customer service
Ensure manufacture standards are achieved (fix it right first time)
Maintain workshop supplies and equipment.
