Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand to join several of our dairy farms located near Smithton. Our farms are situated between 5 and 15 minutes from Smithton, and approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Burnie.

Our farms milk between 1,100 and 1,400 medium‑frame crossbred cows at peak. These farms are all 100% spring‑calving beginning in early to mid‑August.

Accommodation is available for the right candidate, and there may also be employment opportunities for a partner on one of our nearby farms if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of:

• Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
• All aspects of milking.
• Animal husbandry.
• Pasture management.
• Machinery operation.
• Repairs and maintenance.

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Past dairy industry experience is desirable for this position, but we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude.
