Manager - Health and Safety (Part-time or Full-time)

LMS Energy is at the forefront of emissions reduction and renewable fuel innovation across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Manager – Health and Safety, located in Unley or Prospect in Adelaide, South Australia. 

Reporting to the Group Leader - Health and Safety, this role is a key leadership position within our Safety team. You will lead a team of Health and Safety professionals and play a critical role in strengthening our safety culture, enhancing WHS systems and performance, and ensuring compliance across a complex and geographically dispersed operational environment across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain fit-for-purpose WHS Management systems aligned with ISO standards, legislation and organisational objectives
• Empowerment of direct reports to ensure the effective identification, assessment, control and monitoring of risks across operational, construction and new business opportunities
• Establish and maintain effective reporting and assurance frameworks to identify hazards, manage non-conformance and promote a lesson learnt culture
• Coach and mentor LMS teams on WHS matters, legislative requirements, organisational procedures and processes, and best practice principles
• Provide advice on WHS training requirements and work collaboratively with the L&D Team to identify external requirements and build fit-for-purpose internal modules that build capability and knowledge

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Health and Safety or related discipline
• Minimum 7+ years WHS experience in leadership roles, ideally within the energy, construction and/or oil and gas industries
• ICAM training or equivalent
• Ability to travel intra and interstate regularly
• Australian Drivers Licence
