Are you a driven, capable health professional ready to grow into a leadership role? Brecken Health Bunbury, a thriving medical practice located in Bunbury, is seeking a motivated Practice Manager in Training to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role is a genuine stepping stone into practice management. You'll work closely with our experienced management team, building your skills and confidence across all areas of the business, with structured support every step of the way. Brecken Health provides a diverse range of services including General Practice, Sports Medicine and Occupational Health, giving you broad exposure to how a busy, multidisciplinary practice runs.

As Practice Manager in Training, you'll work alongside our management team in overseeing the daily operations of our busy medical centre, learning what it takes to deliver outstanding patient care and a professional, service-focused atmosphere, with the goal of stepping into full practice management responsibilities as you develop.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:
As our Practice Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
Operational Excellence: Assist with the day-to-day running of the practice, helping ensure seamless operations and the delivery of outstanding patient care.
Team Leadership: Learn to cultivate a professional, friendly, and service-focused work environment, supporting and eventually leading our multidisciplinary team.
People & Culture: Support rostering, onboarding and training for our dedicated team members.
Accreditation & Safety: Learn how the practice operates safely and effectively within the guidelines of the RACGP 6th Edition, with a view to taking ownership of this over time.
System Development: Support the maintenance of systems and processes that ensure efficiency of service and clinical excellence.
Administrative Support: Provide support to the administration team, including covering the reception desk when necessary.
Financial Oversight: Assist with essential financial management tasks such as receipting, petty cash reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a proactive, adaptable and ambitious individual with a strong commitment to patient care and a genuine desire to grow into a management role. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Health Care or Administrative Experience: Leadership or supervisory experience in a General Practice or other medical/health care environment is highly regarded
Leadership Potential: A demonstrated interest in leadership, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with employees and contractors.
Patient-Centric Approach: A positive and professional attitude coupled with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Operational Acumen: The ability to manage competing priorities, demonstrating strong adaptability, multitasking skills, and the capacity to work well under pressure.
Communication & Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with a patient-focused approach.
Tech-Savvy: Highly developed computer and IT skills, with proficiency (or a willingness to quickly learn) Best Practice software and scheduling software.

Based in Bunbury in the beautiful South-West of WA. Brecken Health Bunbury is a state-of-the-art purpose-built GP practice offering high-quality services led by our multi-disciplinary team.
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, quality medical services in an efficient and caring environment. We have a great team of GPs, nurses, Allied Health and administration.
