Junior Administrative Assistant

About the role

Working closely with the directors and administrative team, you will assist with a variety of day-to-day activities in a specialist dental practice. This is an ideal opportunity to develop real-world experience in healthcare administration, customer service, digital systems, social media and practice operations while completing your studies. Remuneration will be paid in accordance with the applicable Award. Please note that junior rates apply to current Year 12 and university students, and may differ from the hourly rate advertised

Key responsibilities

• General administrative and reception support

• Welcoming patients and assisting with the patient experience

• Assisting with social media content creation, preparation and publication under the guidance of the practice directors

• Preparing and organising documents and correspondence

• Assisting with data entry, organisation and basic reporting

• Supporting practice projects and quality improvement initiatives

• Helping implement new digital systems and workflows

• Supporting other day-to-day practice activities as required

• Strong English communication skills, including speaking, reading and writing

• Friendly, professional and confident communicating with people

• Organised, reliable and punctual

• Good computer and digital skills

• Comfortable using social media

• Strong attention to detail

• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities

• Shows initiative and enjoys working as part of a team

• Current university student
