Team members work in a hands-on environment where safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are key priorities.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Second Class Welder role based in Henderson, WA, focused on container modifications. The role involves performing welding tasks on shipping containers, including cutting, fitting, and assembling steel components for doors, windows, vents, and internal structures. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, and carrying out MIG welding in accordance with quality and safety standards. The Second Class Welder will inspect and test welds, complete basic repairs, and assist with general workshop duties such as grinding, cleaning, and maintaining tools and equipment. Collaboration with the workshop team, adherence to safety procedures, and consistent productivity are expected.QualificationsDemonstrated Welding skills, including experience with MIG Welding.Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings or plans, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.Understanding of workshop safety practices, including PPE use, safe equipment handling, and adherence to WHS requirements.Previous experience in metal fabrication, container modifications, or a similar industrial environment is highly regarded. MIG welding experience, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable time management and communication skills.
