We emphasize a collaborative approach, working closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure meaningful progress and positive outcomes. Role Description We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist on a contract basis to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for individuals with diverse functional and developmental needs.
As a contractor, you’ll work independently across various community settings or via Telehealth, delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ functional abilities, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Develop individualized therapy plans to enhance mobility, self-care, and overall independence. Provide intervention for a range of conditions, including developmental delays, physical disabilities, and neurological disorders. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support therapy goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and track client progress, modifying treatment plans as needed. Stay updated on current best practices and advancements in occupational therapy. Offer recommendations for assistive devices, home modifications, and ongoing support.
Manage your own schedule and work independently to meet client needs. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Full registration with AHPRA Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
