Deputy Principal - Bwgcolman Community School

This exciting leadership opportunity is for an exceptional Deputy Principal to make a meaningful and lasting impact across Bwgcolman Community School. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, you will help shape whole-school improvement, build staff capability, strengthen community partnerships and contribute to positive outcomes for every student from Kindergarten through to Year 12.

This role is offered as a temporary role starting Term 4 2026, until the end of Term 1 2027, unless otherwise determined.

About the school

Bwgcolman Community School is a vibrant Kindergarten to Year 12 Partnership Initiative (PI) school located on beautiful Palm Island, just 65 kilometres north-northwest of Townsville within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. With approximately 370 students across State Delivered Kindergarten, primary and secondary phases of learning, our school is deeply committed to ensuring every young person experiences success through high expectations, strong relationships and culturally responsive practice.
