Plant Operator/Labourer

Plant Operator required for Mustard Seed crushing plant in Griffith NSW. Some physical activity so a moderate level of fitness and a forklift license is essential. Mechanical aptitude necessary and on farm single accommodation available if required. This Position is responsible for the supervision of all plant operations required to produce the finished products fit for sale by Australian Mustard Oil and is responsible for the physical upkeep of the plant. It requires constant observation of machinery and production flow, ensuring all machinery is running as per required and any subpar performance or defects that are noticed are reported to the plant manager or fixed accordingly. It is responsible for Cleanliness and must ensure factory floors, walls, ceilings and machinery, including, but not limited to, forklifts, tractor, crush plant and auxiliary machinery, are cleaned and maintained in a satisfactory condition. 38-40 hours a week at present but will move to a 3 x 8 hour rotating roster early in 2027 and payment as per Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award [MA000073]

Pay: $71,500.00 per year
