Panettiere Builders is seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Truck & Trailer Drivers to join our growing construction team based in Newstead, Brisbane.

We are looking for professional operators who take pride in their work, respect their equipment, and understand the importance of safety, reliability and getting the job done right the first time.

Applicants ideally reside in Brisbane.

About the Role

• Operate heavy combination truck and trailer combinations across Queensland

• Transport construction plant, machinery and materials

• Safely load, secure and deliver equipment in accordance with NHVR requirements

• Complete daily pre-starts, inspections and vehicle checks

• Maintain accurate logbooks, fatigue management and compliance records

• Work closely with site teams, supervisors and management

• Represent Panettiere Builders professionally on the road and on-site

What We’re Looking For

• Current MC Licence (HC Licence considered for the right applicant)

• Proven experience operating heavy truck and trailer combinations

• Minimum 3 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience

• Experience transporting construction equipment highly regarded

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Load restraint requirements

  • NHVR fatigue management obligations

  • Queensland heavy vehicle compliance

• Clean driving history

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude

• Ability to complete paperwork and safety documentation accurately

Compliance Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Current Queensland MC or HC Heavy Vehicle Licence

• Construction White Card (preferred)

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

• Commercial driver medical (if required)
