Join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department as a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and supporting patients through ophthalmic assessment, treatment and surgery as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
About the role
The Registered Nurse - Ophthalmology Outpatient Department provides contemporary, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing ophthalmic assessment, treatment and surgery within the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. The role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate and patient-centred care while supporting positive outcomes for individuals accessing specialist ophthalmology services.
The successful candidate will apply clinical nursing expertise across all stages of the patient journey, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, they will support patient education, promote quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the efficient operation of the Ophthalmology Outpatient and Eye Casualty Department.
