About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at Michael's Chemist in Wembley, WA. As a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and patient care. The role is Monday to Friday 7am -3pm. This position offers a rewarding career in the healthcare industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to the local community.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the Pharmacist and Dispensary Technicians in their day-to-day duties within the pharmacy
Accurately processing and maintaining meticulous records, managing receipting of new stock deliveries
Providing exceptional customer service, answering patient queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter medications, S2 qualification is highly regarded
Stocking and maintaining the pharmacy's inventory, ensuring stock is well-organised and available
Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients
Collaborating with the pharmacy team to implement new workflows and improve operational efficiency
About you
Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer-facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and professional customer service
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
A genuine interest in the pharmacy and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Must hold CPR and First Aid qualifications
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and a demonstrated understanding of patient confidentiality
A team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
