About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at Michael's Chemist in Wembley, WA. As a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and patient care. The role is Monday to Friday 7am -3pm. This position offers a rewarding career in the healthcare industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the Pharmacist and Dispensary Technicians in their day-to-day duties within the pharmacy

• Accurately processing and maintaining meticulous records, managing receipting of new stock deliveries

• Providing exceptional customer service, answering patient queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter medications, S2 qualification is highly regarded

• Stocking and maintaining the pharmacy's inventory, ensuring stock is well-organised and available

• Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients

• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to implement new workflows and improve operational efficiency

About you

• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer-facing role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and professional customer service

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure

• A genuine interest in the pharmacy and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Must hold CPR and First Aid qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and a demonstrated understanding of patient confidentiality

• A team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
